This festival aims to inspire children to explore the world of books and stories. Meeting the creators of the books encourages the children to read more and fall in love with the books.

How it all started .....
About Oru Oorula
What started as small storytelling sessions at the Turning Point Bookstore in 2015 culminated in the first and only Children’s Literary Festival of Tamil Nadu in 2019. Two days of fun with books and activities for children, and teachers including storytelling sessions, workshops, book launch Sessions, book stalls, and Art and Craft sessions. The festival attracted 25+ schools, 3000+ children with their parents. Over 17+ authors, storytellers, theatre artists, and illustrators joined us.
